Trip to Antsirabe

Yes, that's us riding bikes in Antsirabe before the open house.

Where we stayed for $15 per night!

It was a fun weekend and we enjoyed the members of the branch soon to be divided.

One of our home teaching mothers and her new sewing machine. Thanks for all of your donations.

Elder & Sister Peterson,
You look just like nineteen-year-olds! We really enjoy your blogs and emails. You are truly living the lives of missionaries.

Things here are not as exotic or exciting as what we see you doing, though there was the historic 2008 presidential election, the passage of Prop. 8 (which is still being reviewed by the California Supreme Court), and the big financial crisis of '08-'09. To that, add Brad's retirement from teaching and Lupe's continuing adventures with the Young Women.

Still, we think your experiences trump ours, and are in admiration of your faith, love and courage as missionaries.

Love,
Lupe & Brad
